Story

Can we beat our target on the third year running?

Each year PTFS staff organise a series of charity fundraising events. As part of the campaign to raise awareness and gain vital funds for worthy charities, a group of PTFS staff take to the roads of Birmingham for a gruelling 13.1 miles of running in the ‘Birmingham Great Run’ on Sunday, 23 October.

In 2009 we raised £3414. In 2010 we increased to £3,890. For 2011 we will do all we can to increase the donations to break through the £4000 threshold for our chosen charity of 2011 Cancer Research

Our team, ranging from seasoned professionals to half marathon virgins, will be taking part in the 13.1 mile run on 24th October 2010, with the hope to raise significant funds for such a worthy cause. For information on the run please see http://www.greatrun.org/Events/Event.aspx?id=14

Please recognise the team’s efforts by donating through JustGiving, it is fast, simple and totally secure. All contributions, regardless of their size will be greatly appreciated.

On behalf of all the runners, ‘Thank you!’
