Lewis-Manning Hospice Care is an independent local Dorset charity providing extraordinary care to people and their loved ones facing a life-limiting illness. We support over one thousand patients and families every year in their homes, virtually, and at our hubs.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July 2015, I will be taking part in a tandem skydive to raise money for Lewis-Manning Hospice in Poole. I have decided to go all out and jump from 15,000ft instead of the usual 10,000! The Skydive is taking place exactly 1 week before my 21st Birthday, so I might as well celebrate in style!

Lewis-Manning Hospice is a charity which provide free palliative care to over 650 local people each year, who suffer from life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, parkinson's and motor-neurone disease. As well as offering different specialist clinics, they are currently in the process of opening up 23 new bedrooms to allow for respite, rehabilitation and end-of-life care; so any money raised, will go towards the opening of the new bedrooms, and towards providing the best possible care to their patients. Lewis-Manning is a fantastic local charity, who make such a positive difference to so many people's lives; and it would be really lovely to give something back! I hope you will be kind enough to donate, no matter how big or small, to help me reach my target of £600, thank you!
