Training runs round the garden sometimes necessary...!

Hi everybody and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have decided to take the plunge and do the Great North Run in September! It's been a very long time since the last one !!!!

As many of you probably know, I lost my fabulous mum Maureen to breast cancer over five years ago. She was an amazing woman and faught the disease for many years. I am running in her memory and to raise money for Break Through Breast Cancer. It is a pioneering charity dedicated to the prevention, treatment and ultimate eradication of breast cancer. One in eight women will be diagnosed with the disease and I am sure we all know someone who is suffering or has suffered from it.Just  £5 will buy 100 microscopic slidesso help researchers develop more tailored treatments for the illness. If I manage to raise my £600 target the money would pay for a micro centrifuge used to obtain pure DNA samples from breast cancer cells
