Northern Rock Cyclone in aid of The Prince's Trust · 12 June 2010

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Prince's Trust is an independent charity set up to support some of the most disadvantaged young people in the country.  It is a myth that The Prince's Trust are a rich organisation that doesn't need support, it is a charity like any other and as such relies on vital fundraising activity to continue to survive.

This is where myself, Ged Donnelly, Steve Blake, Martin Dixon and Russ Shepherd are hoping to help.  By taking part in the Northern Rock Cyclone on Saturday 12th June we are going to be cycling a very challenging, and very hilly, 63 miles through the Northumbrian countryside, starting and finishing at Newcastle Falcons Rugby Club, Kingston Park.  All money raised will go directly to supporting disadvantaged young people in the North East region.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.  Any contribution, no matter how small, is very much appreciated.

Thank you.
