Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have been living with Motor Neurone Disease since my speech started to slur in 1989, my first symptom, 22 years ago. My twin daughters were 10 and I longed to be able to raise them until they were 16. They're now 32 and I'm still here!! They have had to watch my slow progression, many, many falls, walking sticks, frames, manual chair and I'm on my third power chair and have very little movement now. The twins have had to watch me deteriorate with this cruel illness and our roles have been reversed for many years, they look after me wonderfully.
The MNDA have been a good financial support over the years, providing equipment when needed, a holiday and assisted me to buy a bed and a page turner. They also provide money for research into a cure for this awful disease and I ask you to kindly contribute whatever you can and sponsor my walk to d'feet MND on 17 July.
