Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2014 · 24 May 2014 ·

We support Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Children and Young People by giving seriously ill children and their families the extra support they need when facing a life-changing hospital visit. We speed up recovery, take away fear and provide reassurance, distraction and fun every step of the way.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon again this year. You'd think I'd know better at 40, eh! But the thrill and the buzz of last year is still with me and I want to do it all over again! We all know the value of the Sick Kids and the wonderful job they do. This is my fourth time fundraising for the charity  - a 10K in 2011, the half marathon in 2012 and last year's full marathon. I reckon my efforts this year will take me past the £1,500 mark. As a parent, I simply value every little thing they do there - from a stookie in A&E to PJ's loft if you need to stay. I know I appreciate all they do. Please donate - every penny helps such a worthwhile cause. Thanks for reading my blurb and please donate if you can.
