Rosebery School fundraising in honour of Alan Celine · 21 November 2018

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit Rosebery School's JustGiving page.

Rosebery School is raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of our friend, colleague, teacher and loved one, Alan Celine, who has passed away only two months after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in October 2018

Alan was an inspirational Maths teacher and Senior Leader at Rosebery School for the last nine years and had a profound impact on the lives of so many children and colleagues during that time.  This disease is a cruel one and it has taken Alan from us far too soon.  One of his greatest wishes was that we do all we can to fund Pancreatic Cancer UK which works to fund research into this particularly aggressive cancer.

Alan wanted the odds of survival from this cancer to be better for future sufferers than they were for him, through the development of ground-breaking treatments and drugs.

Alan’s family, friends and the Rosebery community will be very grateful for any contribution you feel able to make in Alan’s name to this sadly vital and very worthwhile cause.
