Pantellis and The Nine Day Maasai Warrior Trek

Tanzania - Rift Valley Masai Trek · 25 October 2014
My friend passing away at 19 was one of my biggest lessons in life, and that teaching is the reason I am offering my body (mostly my legs) in the name of charity.
On Saturday 25th October I will cease to exist in the Western World and will reappear in wild, remote African scenery. I know what you're thinking , "you'll be a Lion's dinner", BUT don't worry! I will be in the good hands of the Maasai for 11 days, where i will be walking, camping, walking, camping, followed by more walking and walking.
I will be raising funds for The Leukaemia Cancer Society , a cause close to me heart. After my friend passed away of Leukaemia at 19, I made the determination to make the most of every new day, because my friend can't be here to do the same. Since then I have cliff jumped, bungee jumped, back packed Thailand & Australia, and even had a woeful attempt at breakdancing. Raising money for The Leukaemia Cancer Society is my way of giving back to my friend for being my biggest teacher.
Hope you guys will support me, and to show my appreciation I vow to share with you all the meaning of life, if shared by the Maasai Warriors. Though I reckon Hakuna Matta is the meaning of life - Swahili in Tanzania for " no worries, be happy".
Thanks Everyone,
Pan
