Story

Park House Stables Hostel 200 mile Challenge

The hostel residents at Park House Stables are undertaking a challenge to between them run 200 miles during this third (sigh) UK lockdown in order to raise money for Racing Welfare.

Racing Welfare does incredible work supporting every staff member in the racing industry; from practical help to supporting healthcare and mental health issues, from recruitment into retirement, allowing every member of the industry to thrive. Racing would not be the same without their unwavering support, and we feel it is the least we can do to raise money to support them.

The team of 15 people, aged between 16 and 24, aim to run 200 miles between them by mid-February, which works out to about a half-marathon per person. We will keep track of every one of our runs, and add them all to the combined target, and update the page regularly.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated, and thank you for helping us to support Racing Welfare!
