Story

On 28th June 2017 Michael Almond, a much-loved friend and colleague to many of the Parkdean Resorts team was taken from this world too ealy at the age of just 27. Earlier that year he was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour which unfortunately took his life just as he began treatment.

In September 2017 we got a team together and completed Maggie's Culture Crawl and we enjoyed it so much we're doing it again! This time will be even more poignant as Michael's family - Mary Paul and Helen will also be joining the team.

It's for a great cause to raise money to help support the amazing work of Maggie's Centre - providing advice and support to people with cancer and their family & friends. The centre has been used by a number of the Parkdean Resorts team as well as by Michael's family so this is a cause close to our hearts. All donations will be greatly appreciated.

The team inlcudes: Nick Taylor, Mike Wilmot, Peter Collins, Debbie Hodgson, Sandra Conway, Josh Bailey, Sylvia Richardson, Richard Murley, Paul Batey, Donna Peterson, Andy Hollis, Matt Royle, Nick Frost, Egle Martinkute, Melissa Maitland, Nick Golder, Phil Cramman, Joanne Green, Lisa Picken, Julie Fenwick, Morvyn Cattanach, Naomi Malligan, Yvonne Webb, Rob Cook, Martin Brown, Alex Flynn, Katy Clark, Kim Knowles, John Dougal and Mary, Paul and Helen Almond! (Jane Hughes will act as team co-ordinator and chief supporter as at 8 1/2 months pregnant it's probably not a good idea to plan to walk!)
