Story

Firstly we would like to say thank you for taking the time out to visit this page.

Unfortunately on 4th February 2021 we lost our beautiful daughter/sister/auntie/friend Parmjit Kaur. At such a young age of only 42 she has definitely been taken from us way too soon.

So many people have suffered from Covid19, so many have lost their lives.......never did we think that Parmjit would also be taken by this virus.

Our Parmjit was such a kind, beautiful and funny person. She enjoyed life. She absolutely loved special occasions and celebrating them by getting together with all the family, eating delicious food, playing party games and simply having fun. Christmas was one of her favourite times of the year! She would be sure to have the best Christmas jumper with matching earrings! She would take her time and put her heart into writing all her Christmas cards and wrapping presents. Its sad to think that due to this pandemic the last Christmas could not be celebrated the way she would have wanted. However she didn't let this effect her and still smiled, had fun and made the most of it.

Parmjit loved going away on holidays. She went to many places in the UK with both her family and with the care home. The thought of a holiday coming close would fill her with excitement and so much joy. She loved the seaside, she loved the seaside food and absolutely loved the gift shops! She was always thinking of others, which shows the kind hearted, loving person she was.

Parmjit was a dedicated fan of Michael Jackson. She would always be listening to his music and watching his videos. Bollywood also had a big place in her heart. She would often make us all laugh by coming out with filmy dialogues from certain films. Her personality was one to make you laugh and she was a joy to be around.

There is so much more we can tell you about our beautiful Parmjit however the most disheartening thing is that this is all we have left of her....memories. We will always cherish these memories and make sure they live on forever.

Funeral details will soon be sent out to family and friends. Unfortunately due to the lockdown there are only a limited amount of people allowed at the funeral. However there will be a live stream of the funeral and that link will be forwarded to you all.

Many of you have asked to send flowers for Parmjit, however as a family we have decided it is best that instead of sending flowers you make a kind donation on this Just Giving page. There is no target and any contribution will be most welcome and appreciated. As many of you know Parmjit suffered with learning difficulties. Even though she lived a beautiful happy life, she also came across many struggles and obstacles in her life. We have chosen the charity LDE - Learning Disability England. This is because they are working to make life better for people with learning disabilities and their families. We are grateful to anybody who could help people who might have been in a similar situation to our Parmjit and believe that it is extremely important to have services in place that can make a difference to people with learning disabilities.

We thank you all  for any contributions made and hope we can make a difference to people's lives.

May our beautiful Parmjit Kaur Rest in Peace and may her memories live on forever.
