A best friend of mine has set up Jersey Action Against Rape due to a personal experience and instead of letting it beat her, she has decided to fight it and to help others who have survived rape and sexual assault. If her charity can help at least one victim to be as strong as she, then the charity has been a success. Doing a 48 mile walk has not quite sunk in yet, and I am not sure my dainty feet will enjoy it, but anything I can do to help raise money for this incredible cause, then I shall.
