I am attempting this walk despite my MS. I have foot drop and need to walk with a brace. I can't do hills and this is a flat walk. I am better in cool weather so I'm in with a chance! The Big Green Hike allows me the flexibility to walk where I want for any distance I want within my capabilities. I am thrilled to be able to participate in this and raise funds for a worthy cause.

For over 75 years, the Soil Association has worked with everyone to transform the way we eat, farm, and care for our natural world.

They have worked directly with communities to deliver positive change and hopeful solutions, including: Innovative Farmers, Sustainable Food Places, Food For Life Get Togethers and more. 

I feel that the Soil Association represents the concerns so many of us have regarding the future of agriculture and nature. This is why I have chosen them as my charity for the Big Green Hike as I know the money raised will go to helping protect the future health of our communities, animals, plants and environment.
