Hi, that's me in the yellow. I started fostering for Cats Protection after my Samson died of old age a couple of years ago. It has been incredible. All the cats I have had have been wonderfully adopted. Gorettie the shy one, Katy the Athlete who trained on the stairs. Star who loved to sit on my shoulder when I washed up. Elise who suffered with depression until she went to live at a house with stables where she could get outside. So many sad to happy ever after stories . . . and now there's MissE who came with sores a dickey tummy and a need to be loved all the time. We have found she has allergies. But the medication is working and we will look for a special home as she will always need tablets. But she has learned tablet means tea is coming!
Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle Cats Protection do a fantastic work..We want to educate so there will not be unwanted kittens, happy neutered cats and rescue cats in need.
Sally wanted to join me as she adopted two cats, Tom and Buddy from Cats Protection. Older cats they had been overlooked for a long time and become a little institutionalized. Now they are fearless friends patrolling the garden and mobbing Sally at meal times. Unfortunately Sally has a serious foot injury and cannot run at the moment.
