Story
Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you may already know, for the second year in a row I have been unlucky in the ballot for a place in the Prudential Ride 100 (a 100 mile/161 km closed-road event through London and Surrey - the cycling equivalent of the London marathon). So this year, rather than missing another opportunity to chase down the "chiselled whippet" that is Boris Johnson, I have decided to do the right thing and ride for charity. This is my first time fundraising and my target is £500 by August.
If you want to help support the WWF or if you want to make my dream come true - or even if you just like the thought of me slogging my way through 100 miles of the Surrey countryside (you sadist) - please donate. As a wise man (or was it a supermarket?) once said - "every little helps".
Thank you!
My chosen charity, the World Wide Fund for Nature, work tirelessly to protect our natural world for future generations and save animals from extinction. I especially support the work they are doing to protect whales. To find out more go to: http://worldwildlife.org/species/whale
