Story
Well here goes this years mad cap charity event – only once a year read on…
This year I will be getting onto my bike to cycle from Liverpool to a whole 215 miles of very hard slog is predicted – however the pain and effort is well worth it for my favourite charity Bradford Cancer Support – who over the years has supported my family and friends in their personal fight against the big C.
This year monies raised will go to supporting both the fantastically hard working charity and inner group ‘Busom Friends’ or as me and my brothers like to call them ‘Breast of Friends – now my mum is going to kill me for saying it J
This year my fabulous sister Carmen has had a difficult but brave fight putting up with the challenges of the ‘roller-coaster’ white knuckle ride of treatment, trauma, tears and being totally knackered by her life changing event – good news she is on the mend with some new ’18 year old boobs’ and bad attitude!
Also I’ll be cycling in memory of Karen Rai my old friend who sadly lost her battle a few years ago and of course my Mum who like Carmen has faced her hard battles with Cancer.
I’ve listed a few links into the charity web site so please take time out to have a quick look.
Warm regards
Patrick
