Now is certainly an exciting time to live in Morecambe. With the news of Eden North being all but confirmed to be developed over the next few years, the future is indeed bright for our area of the coast.

In the midst of all the positivity it's important to remember there are still many families across our region who are struggling to make ends meet. Many will rely heavily on the Morecambe Foodbank team to provide for them when they have no where else to go.

On the second of June I'll be taking part in the Epic Man Windermere middle distance triathlon to raise money to support our local foodbank. All the money raised will go directly to help families across Morecambe put food on the table when they have no other options.

Any support will be really appreciated and will go a long way to helping me complete the race which includes a 1.2 mile swim, 55mile bike ride and a 13.1 mile run.
