Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After last years failed attempt to conquer the National 3 Peaks (although we did have a good reason #lifesavers) I've decided to up the ante this year and really stretch my aging body to the limit!  So it's a half marathon then, should be a laugh, cheeky jaunt round larndarn tarn with a pint in the old queen vic afterwards.....well that's what I thought, but now realise it's 13 bloody miles! That's like running up and down the golden mile at Blackpool...... 6 and half times!

So at least I've been training right? Well no not really, although I have bought some running shorts with a zip pocket and loads of protein shakes so should be ok.....

Anyway why the British Thyroid Foundation? Well my littlest baby Saoirse was born partially deaf and without a thyroid, and apparently it's pretty important to have one, for brain development and other such critical stuff.  So although she seems to be doing ok I'd like to try and help the foundation so they can continue researching and helping little thyroid-less monkeys like Saoirse.
