Story

The Insolvency Service Runners raised £2,300 for Together for Short Lives by running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in 2014. We are back to raise even more this year to help children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions and all those who support, love and care for them.

When you run a half marathon, the clock never stops ticking as you strive to set a new personal best time, keep up with your running buddy or just finish with a smile on your face.

For sick children and their families, the clock never stops ticking until it finally does and everyone involved may always wonder what more they could have done.

We can make a difference by running for Together for Short Lives. Our corporate charity helps children and young people get the best possible care, wherever and whenever they need it. From the moment of diagnosis, for whatever life holds, our charity helps families make the most of their precious time together.

The Insolvency Service Runners are Paul Carter, Andrew Dutton, Jay Simms, Mike Chapman, Sue O’Boyle, Carly Davies, Rob Clarke, Ian Jones, Tom Phillips, Heather Wilkin, Vicky Bagnall and Tanya Coleflax.

Your donations can help the charity care for 49,000 seriously ill children and young people in the UK. Every second counts. Every penny counts. Together we can make a difference.
