On Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd April I will be cycling apx. 100miles as part of STFC Foundation's Bike2Bolton challenge. The ride starts in Shrewsbury and will take us to Bolton Wanderers' stadium in time for the Bolton vs Shrewsbury match on Saturday 22nd.

The funds raised from Bike2Bolton go directly to STFC Foundation and will support various community initiatives in and around Shrewsbury. The foundation uses the funds to deliver a wide range of projects including youth engagement programmes, football coaching sessions, mental health initiatives, disability sports programmes and other community-based activities. These initiatives have a positive impact on the lives of individuals and groups in the local community promotion physical and mental well-being, fostering social inclusion and supporting personal development.

I will be doing this bike ride in memory of my friend Glyn Price, who passed away in November 2022. Glyn did a lot for the STFC Foundation, including taking part in last years cycling challenge to Milton Keynes. He was a major influence in the Shrewsbury Town fanbase and a huge part of the STFC Away Supporters team for many years. He is sorely missed and he will be very much in all of our thoughts as we complete the Bike2Bolton challenge.
