From: Paul
Before I was born my Dad was diagnosed with cancer and whilst I don't want to go into too much detail he has been battling with it ever since. He's been an absolute hero and for those of you who haven't met him, if you did you would never know this about him; he has never let it affect him or stop him from doing what he needed to do especially where my sisters and I are concerned - we call him the 4th emergency service - he's always there when we need him. Put simply, he is the best man I know. Over the years he has been in and out of hospitals and there's one that really stands out, Frimley. The people there are fantastic - they've made my Dad smile in spite of it all and they've always been at the end of the phone and email for my Mum - without them he wouldn't be with us today.
And so, it is time for me to give a little something back to say thank you.
My friends and family will tell you that I am not a runner (in fact my sisters would tell you that I don't even like going for walks!) so a 10km run is not going to be easy; especially as I've not been to a gym since Freddie was born 18 months ago (no that's not true I've been twice!)! But I have 2 months to get into shape so, bring it on!
I'd love to raise a ton of money for Frimley and anything you can spare to hep me reach my total or surpass it would be really appreciated.
Thank you very much
Paul

From Ali:
Me and my little bro Paul will be running 10K next week in the Godalming run to raise money for the hospital that saved my dad's life on numerous occasions. He was diagnosed with cancer when he was only my age and without them we would not have him here today and all the memories we made along the way. This year my dad celebrates his 74th birthday, he is my real life hero and an inspiration to me every day. He taught me to live everyday as if it was my last cos u never know what life will throw at you. This is our chance to say thank you and give something back so please donate to my brothers just giving link below. Neither of us are runners but we're both nuts so that will see us through! Wish us luck and thank you!😊 xx
