The Rory Peck Trust provides practical & financial support to freelance journalists and their families worldwide, assisting in times of crisis and helping them work more safely and professionally. We do this through assistance grants, our training fund, and online resources, as well as our Awards.

Story

Paul Douglas and James Brolan were killed by a roadside bomb while on assignment in Baghdad on 29th May 2006.  

In honour of the "boys" a memorial cricket match will be held at 1100 on Saturday, 13th August at Chiswick House cricket pitch between a CBS News XI and a Rory Peck Trust XI

All monies raised will be given to the Rory Peck Trust which suppports freelance newsgatherers and their families worldwide in times of need.

All spectators are welcome to wach this battle of the giants. A light lunch will be served. A pay bar will be open.

The CBS News XI is comfortable in the knowledge of certain defeat but we wil remember the "boys." Please give generously.
