Story

We did it!! We walked over 9 peaks with full packs carrying our kit for camping out, arrived at our wild camp site and after putting up our tents did peak no.10 which was great to do without the rucksacs! We had planned to go on and do another couple of peaks on day 2 but after it rained all night and continued to rain with very poor visibility the next day we decided to walk back down to the valley as the path up Fairfield and accross to St Sunday craggs would have been tricky in the wet and with full packs.
A big thank you to "Friends of Sandringham School" for organising the event and for all those who have already donated to charity on our behalf!!

Hey everyone, in a couple of weeks Matt, Nathan Jack and Matt's dad will
be doing a 10 peak challenge in the lake district and we were just hoping
to raise awareness and maybe a bit of money.
The money that we raise
will be donated to Grove House Hospice, it is the charity that the
people who are running the event have chosen and any money that we could
raise would be much appreciated.
We will be walking up and over more than 10 peaks (12 planned) covering more than 20 miles and 7000ft of up and down in 2 days across some of the highest Cumbrian mountains . We will be carrying all our kit with us and camping out in the mountains for one night. All this discomfort and challenge so that we can raise money for a good cause.
