I feel very lucky to have a safe, warm comfortable home.  Imagine living on the streets especially as the winter months begin.  Last year I tried my first 6000m peak and fell agonisingly short in view of the summit.  I felt so ill I said never again (again) but I want to have one more try to get so high.  The trek is categorised as "Extreme"..... details below.  I have around 9 months to raise my sponsorship for the trip. My initial donation is my contribution to the full cost of the trip so anything else I raise will be solely for Simon on the Streets.  I will be dreaming up ways to raise funds however if you feel so moved then any donation at this time to kickstart the fund will be gratefully received and you will enjoy your Christmas holidays knowing you have done something to help those in need.  If you would like to read more about Simon then follow this link on this page.

PS.  My photo is last year on the point of collapse near 6000m on Mera Peak.  Hope to do a little better next time!
