Spirit of Belron Triathlon Challenge · 23 September 2017

The Amelia-Mae foundation was set up when we lost Amelia-Mae to Neuroblastoma at aged 2. We, the volunteers of this charity, fight in Amelia's name to ensure no family goes unsupported throughout and beyond treatment. Please help us to sustain this support

Story

Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.

If you are visiting this page it must mean you know Paul Goodband, Victoria Goodband, Philip Ismail, Robert King, George Close, Paul Cragg & Josh Laft. As you'll then know we are not all athletically minded or bodied, but we have set the challenge of completing an Olympic distance Triathlon event on the 23rd September of 2017. The event itself will take place at Dorney Lake in Windsor.

This will consist of; 1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run. It is by no means an easy event to do and we will aim to keep  you updated with all our progress throughout our training and other events.

Along the journey we'll be competing in a sprint triathlon event (July 2017) and some other individual cycling, running and swimming events which some of us have never competed in previously.

In total there are 7 people taking up this challenge, none who have ever previously taken on anything like this before. EVER!

WE ARE OF COURSE DOING THIS FOR CHARITY. The said charities being the The Amelia-Mae Foundation and The White Horse Wishing Well.

We've joined together to raise money for these charities. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal

Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails.
