Well at the ripe old age of ... (insert best guess here), I have decided to run the London Marathon.

 

I am doing it for a charity that are doing fantastic work in raising awareness of diabetes where the number of people having to deal with this condition will double over the next ten years.

 

Diabetes already causes some members of my family to change the way they live their lives and unfortunately this condition can also effect people that are getting older, are overweight and inactive. Hands up most of my drinking chums.

 

So I get to do two things at one time, help a great charity and run the London Marathon.
