Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Next Sunday, me & my wife Linzi are doing the Bupa great North Run (my 4th, Linzi 2nd consecutive !!). Again, this year we are running for a fantastic charity based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle 'Tiny Lives' . We first came across the great work Tiny Lives do when visiting a family friend up in the North East, and was invited to a charity function that they've supported ever since their son Ben was born premature and spent the first few weeks of his life in intensive care in the 'Tiny Lives' baby unit. Over the years I have helped in numerous fundraising events to help the unit to continue the priceless work they do. I became a patron for the charity back in 2008. Having 3 beautiful children ourselves, we wanted to do something to help parents with children in the unit have the best opportunity to see their babies grow into healthy young children. Any donations would be more than welcome to help this great work to continue.

Thank you very much for reading our reasons for running.
