In nearly the words of the Proclaimers....I will 'ride' 500 miles....

Since my Sister got Cervical Cancer in 2016 Macmillan were amazing help to her and the rest of the family when we most needed it. Unfortunately my Sister passed away from Cancer on the 29th August 2017.

Due to this I have done one sponsored Cycle each year in order to help Macmillan in their amazing work. 

This year (all being well....) I am doing the following long cycling challenges so thought I would bundle them together in this Just giving effort,

27th April Evans Cycles Windsor Sportive  75miles - Cancelled due to High Winds (Storm Hannah!). 

5th May Tour De Yorkshire Sportive (Leeds) https://letour.yorkshire.com/tour-de-yorkshire-ride/  77miles - Completed 6h 12 mins 

30th June British Cycling Festival (Norwich)https://www.sportive.com/events/great-british-cycling-festival-sportive/2019-06-30/4780/cycling   100miles - Completed 6h 25 mins

14th July E'tape Du Tour (Amersham) https://www.letapeuk.co.uk/  100miles - Complete 68 miles 4h 46mins - You may note the milege is somewhat short...This was due to some traffic issues getting to the event so they may a whole of us do a somewhat shorter route. 100km instead of 100miles. 

4th August Ride London 100 (London)https://www.prudentialridelondon.co.uk/  100miles. Completed 6h 26mins 

Newly added - 17th August - Orro Magnificat Hampshire 102miles. Completed 8h 2mins!  

7th September ORRO Sussex Downs Classic 102miles. 78 miles completed (route was changed last minute...5hr 19m 

Total Mileage 500 plus 54 just to be sure.....-Edited due to change of events, now 581 miles in total! 

By the way I will be using a slightly more regular bike than pictured...and the handsome young man pictured with me is my Sister Sarah's youngest son Reece.
