Story

Me & my son after I finished in 2010.

I'm going to run the Leeds Half Marathon in aid of the Marie Curie Cancer Care foundation.

Marie Curie means a lot to my family and I after they took care of my Grandma when she passed away 3 years ago, and this will be my second time running for them.

Of course last time didn't go exactly to plan and I was the slowest runner to finish the race on the day, crossing the line in around 4 hours 20 minutes-ish.

I plan on doing much better this time, because let's face it, I can't do any worse, they were' clearing everything away by the time I finished in 2010.

But this is a great cause and one I pray you never have need of calling upon, however should the worst happen, the Marie Curie foundation are the perfect people to help. But it's a non-profit organisation and need our help to help others.

So here's the official blurb about how flippin' easy it is to donate as much as you can, be it 50p, £2, £5 or £10 (or if you're rich, just flop the full £250 down on the table!).

Thanks for reading.
