The Cancer Treatment and Research Trust (CTRT) plays a key role in funding the world-class research carried out at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. Research at Mount Vernon has already led to major advances in cancer treatments, More information is available on our website www.cancertreatment.org.uk

Story

CTRT supports our melanoma and renal cancer research at Mount Vernon. We have a fabulous team of dedicated doctors, nurses and study co-ordinators and administrative staff who allow us to keep offering cutting edge clinical trials to our patients. Without CTRT funding we would not be able to offer access to the most innovative medicines or perform translational research to gain greater understanding into the diseases we treat and the drugs we use.  Supporting your local centre of excellence makes a massive difference to the quality of care we can offer our patients. Thank you.

The Gavia and Stelvio passes are the two most iconic cycling climbs in the Dolomites.  They regularly feature in the Giro d'Italia, are high altitude, steep and dramatic climbs.  I've posted a few pictures to give you the idea....  I'll be there 26th and 27th June.
