I have spoken to many people about my trips to Normandy for D Day remembrance events with armed forces veterans.  It is unbelievable what some of these people had to do during WW2.  It's even more unbelievable that the veterans do not get an army pension!  Many are struggling financially day to day.  The Spirit of Normandy Trust helps support veterans and also helps with the upkeep of monuments and statues so we don't forget what happened.
