As an employee of the Licensed Trade Charity I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to partake in 'Pedalling for Pubs' - a charity bike ride going through the heart of Jordan, taking in most of its iconic locations including Petra and Dead Sea. The challenge is in March 2022.

I enjoy a spot of cycling every now and then, but this will be quite a challenge. Covering a distance 335 km over 4 days, and taking on temperature above 40°C on tricky terrain. Thankfully I've still got a few months to get some training in  - perhaps a turbo trainer in a sauna might help! 

It's all for a very worthwhile cause to support two fantastic charities. 'Pedalling For Pubs' aims to raise money and support those who work in the pub and hospitality industry via the great work from 'The Licensed Trade Charity' and 'Only a Pavement Away'.
