I have decided to undertake the mad task of organizing a charity football match in aid of children with cancer to co-inside with my marathon run in April.

It all started back last year when I contacted the charity to apply for a place in there marathon team as its always been a subject close to my heart. I was of course very happy when they accepted me for the marathon but that got me thinking about how to maximize the money I could raise for this fantastic cause and that's when the charity football day was created.

I love my football like so many others so what better way to bring people together to create a special day where the charity's name can be publicised and loads of money be raised for a truly deserving cause.
