Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is a Charity close to our hearts which we have supported for many years after visiting on holiday and meeting a little boy called Daniel who lived in his family's mud hut with little opportunities  in life. We  have sponsored him, through the charity,  at the school from 7 - 18 years old. He is now in his twenties studying at college to start a career in shipping logistics. It's so rewarding to see the progress he and others we have followed have and are making and those we continue to support. We still support a number of children including Daniel's sister.

We have visited Kenya and the village where the school is situated many times since the first trip, always helping out where we can in the school and wider community in the village   During this time we have seen many children flourish through the support this charity gives them, a number coming back to the school and charity as teachers and supporters, when grown up, to pay back for the help they've been given.

The charity kindergarten and primary schools now have in excess of 700 pupils and are also currently building a separate secondary school.  The orphanage they run accommodates about 10 children for those in real need.

See the charity web site for more information and stories, so little goes so far.
