I'm riding in aid of Walpole Old Chapel which is having to replace old failing render in a project called 'Walpole Unwrapped'. It is a grade II* Independent Chapel which closed in 1970; its congregation formed in 1649 leasing a timber-framed and plastered house in 1689. Its interior is simple and original.

It stands in a herb rich sandy grassland, now rare in Suffolk.
