Kids Aid's aim is to provide early intervention in the form of creative therapies to support children and young people to lead healthier, happier and more fulfilling lives and to ensure early years’ trauma does not manifest in later life, causing more serious problems in the future.

Since 2007, KidsAid has successfully been working with children and young people aged 3-18 years who have suffered abuse, neglect, domestic violence, illness, bereavement, family breakdown and bullying among many other life difficulties. We work with an increasing amount of families each year as the growing need for our support continues. We aspire to continue growing our charity so that every family is able to access our service when in need of support.

Kids aid do this by providing a range of creative therapies tailor-made to suit the needs of the child or young person we are working with.
They do this via Play therapy, Art Therapy, Drama Therapy, Dance and Movement therapy, Creative Counselling, Wellbeing Workshops.

The charity patron is Countess Spencer, Princess Diana’s sister (Random fact of the day cynthia spenser is also a relative to the spencer family from althorp) 

Kids Aid are currently campaigning to raise funds for equipment toolboxes as during Covid, children are unable to share equipment and now need individual equipment toolboxes which is an additional cost for the charity.  KidsAid are also reaching out to local businesses asking if they could sponsor a child's therapy as due to the Pandemic we have been overwhelmed with children and families that are facing a mental health crisis.
