In Memory of Paul Jackson (Jacko)

Harriet Jackson is raising money for Mountain Rescue England and Wales
In memory of Paul Jackson (Jacko)
Mountain rescue team members are on call every day, of every month, of every year. Whatever the time, day or night. Whatever the weather. They do it voluntarily. They do it without question. At no cost to the casualty. And it's thanks to your generosity, they can continue saving lives. So thank you.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. We originally set this page up in memory of Paul Jackson (Jacko) who died peacefully on the 22nd August 2022.

I'll also be running the Manchester Marathon 16th April 2023 in memory of my dad and in support of the valuable community service Mountain Rescue provides across the UK.

Paul was a passionate fell runner and long standing member of the Chorley Athletics and Triathalon Club. Some of his favourite memories were running with his friends and companions up the lake district fells and mountains, which couldn't have gone ahead safely without the support of the Mountain Rescue Service.

"Climb mountains not so the world can see you, but so you can see the world".

Run free, Dad x
