I am running the London Marathon 2021 for Plan International UK. Plan International UK is a global children's charity. They work to give every child the same chance in life. Sponsor me today to open up a world of opportunity for children everywhere.

Plan International UK helps children to move themselves from a life of poverty to a future with opportunity. They work tirelessly to offer improving access to healthcare, clean  water and education as well as tackling female genital mutilation, ending childhood marriage and protecting children against being forced or taken into slave and sexual trades. It also offers young girls access to sanitary  products. This is particularly relevant now in  Afghanistan and the minimal rights of girls and women. This equally happens all over the world and if I can do my little bit to support and spread the word then I will. 

As a mum to 2 beautiful happy healthy children I am aware how fortunate we are as a family, as I am sure, do most of my family and friends with the children they know and love. Not all children are afforded such basic human rights.  I want to raise awareness into this amazing Charity as well as raise valuable  funds. The physical and mental toll running the marathon may  have on my body is nothing to what millions of innocent children experience around the world . 

The event has been cancelled twice and I finally get to run in London on 3rd October... It has been hard to train at times, life and heartbreaks have got in the way, as well as this aging body telling me I can’t do it. But I will do it with every ounce of determination I have.
