In the summer of 2012 I will be travelling with the Lasallian Developing Worlds Projects in Mannar, Sri Lanka. We will be working to repair and develop a rural school towards the north of the country which has been badly hit by recent fighting. 

We believe that normal life is beginning to resume for the inhabitants but there is still a constant struggle to survive as well as to repair the damage to infrastructure. As part of our project, my group will also be helping to teach English to Sri Lankan students who need to qualify in this.
