I'm raising money for our work with the poor by walking the last 140km or so of the Camino de Santiago (the 'Way of Saint James' in English). This pilgrimage has seen thousands over the centuries walking its routes from all over Europe to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, northwestern Spain, where tradition says that the Apostle James is buried. Ever since I heard about it, I thought it sounded fun taking time out to pray, reflect, enjoy nature, walk and meet interesting people along the way. Finally I've decided to do it to raise money for Living Waters.

I'm the founder and director of Living Waters Healing Communities, which partners with Karuna Action, and is working presently in Spain and Russia. For more than twenty years we've helped thousands of traumatised war and terror victims, widows, orphans, single mums, the homeless and refugees in whatever ways we can, including offering food, medical treatment, counselling, prayer, practical help, clothing, furniture, housing and restoration of documents.
