Story
To all our Friends, Friends of Friends, Family, Colleagues..
Bake it for life ' is my own way of saying thank you to the Chelsea and Westmister Hospital for saving the life of our baby girl.
Nina was born on 28th May 2016 in the morning by emergency Cesarean section and stopped breathing after 2 minutes of life,.. she was very very sick with MES meconium aspiration and have been in very serious condition and was stabilised for several hours.. The hospital where she was born did not have the ventilator strong enough to keep her alive and it was decided to transport her to the Chelsea and Westminster hospital where high frequency ventilator was available. We have been praying every minute that she can survive the trip, that the right equipment will be ready for her over there and the right personnel who can help her..
Thanks to all the fundraisers every year Chelsea and Westminster hospital receives number of new specialised incubators, cots and can accept the sickest babies like Nina and cure them..
Now, 6 months on the line, Nina is starting to crawl and growing very fast and we would like to thank the hospital for all the care Nina received, for saving her life and we would like to do something to help other sick babies from Chelsea and Westminster hospital by hosting a "Bake for life" event, where I will be selling my home made cakes and biscuits - all delicious ..
