I am doing a charity bike ride for an amazing cause. The aim is to end Duchenne Muscular Dystropy which is an aggressive  muscle wasting disease and is the most common genetic killer of children. 2 families a week  in Uk will be given the devastating news that their son will be wheelchair bound by 11, paralysed by 18 and life expectancy is early 20’ s.  The science is at an exciting stage, with potential  treatments on the horizon.  Every time I am out cycling, I think of these families affected by this terrible disease.
