Our much loved friend,  charity and work colleague, Pauline, would have been 28 years old on Monday, 22^nd March 2021. She sadly passed away when working from her home in London. 

Pauline's last birthday happened at the beginning of the first UK lockdown and she was one of the first  to recognize the impact of the pandemic on mental health. Caring, selfless and an ambassador for change, she asked for donations to the Mental Health Foundation instead of birthday gifts. She wrote: “In these strange times we may find ourselves feeling a little overwhelmed, anxious and lonely at times. I’ve chosen this charity because their mission means a lot to me and I hope that you’ll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me. Every little bit will help..."

Pauline was passionate about work psychology, especially well-being policies in relation to women juggling professional work, childcare, training and personal development. Her simplest advice to friends was "to take it easy",  and "keep smiling".

This and years to come, instead of celebrating Pauline's birthday, her family and friends will be thinking about the never ending love she shared with us, her charitable, caring nature, and her engaging personality. Our aim is to donate a total of £2.037 to Mental Health Foundation (a number created from Pauline's special date 10th August 2019) this year. We trust she would have supported this idea and thank you for every penny donated.
