Story
Hello guys!
Some of you might remember that in 2012 I ran the Loch Ness Marathon for charity and on that occasion we managed to collect 200 pounds for charity. While I realise that it might be problematic in the current economic climate, I have decided to try and beat it by setting this years goal to 250 pounds! I hope you can prove to me that I wasn't overly ambitious.
This year I have decided to sponsor the National Eye Research Centre. They do a very important job of trying to protect and preserve perhaps the most precious of our senses - sight. However, they do not receive nearly as much publicity as other more "mainstream" charities. I am certain that all of us know somebody with a more or less severe eye condition (more than half of us wear glasses anyway). I hope I can make at least a little difference for them by this fundraising event.
Note: I paid the entry fee for the marathon myself and I shall be funding my travel too. The money you donate goes to charity and not to cover my expenses.
Thank you very much for all your donations.
Peace,
Pav
