I sadly lost my Da a few weeks back under the fantastic care of The Mater Hospital.

My Da had IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) and relied on additional oxygen, he was on a lung transplant list but unfortunately a donor did not become available on time and he passed away.

Please support me on July 19th and 20th as I walk from The Mater Hospital to my family home in Offaly with my Da’s oxygen bottle on my back, I’ll be doing this in memory of my father but also for all those with IPF and for the fantastic Heart and Lung Ward in The Mater 🧡
