I thought running marathons was challenging, I have now decided to take on the feat of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro!

At the end of May I will be going back home to climb to the highest peak in Africa. My cause: Peek Vision Foundation. #Peak4Peek

Peek is very close to my heart, and this year I have started working with a team of very inspiring individuals who want to ensure that eye care reaches those that need it most in developing settings. Peek has turned a smartphone into an eye examination tool for all aspects of an eye examination.

I am involved with taking Peek to India where I will be based and work with the team to screen children in schools, detect and then provide glasses, further treatment to children and create referral systems. Peek has already screend  21,000 Kenyan children in 9 days and there are plans underway to screen every child in Kenya, Botswana and Mexico. I will be working on a very unique part of Peek to provide health education to parents, teachers and children and creating awareness of vision problems that affect children.
