Story

What the hell am I doing? I’ve never even taken part in a 5k race!

I’ve signed up for the Robin Hood half marathon, and Yup. This is going

to hurt... an awful lot.

So why would I want to I drag my 44 year old unfit derriere (plus herniated discs and bad knees) coughing, wheezing and spitting (and hopefully not puking or doing a “Paula”) around the gruelling 13 mile route? Well, I’m doing it to raise money for The Campbell Burns Metabolic Trust, a charity set up in honour of a beautiful little boy called Campbell. The charity supports the families of children aged ten and under who have been diagnosed with a metabolic disorder. Please take a look at their website

http://www.campbellstrust.co.uk/home

I will be hobbling a good distance behind the amazing Bekki Burns. Whether or not I live to tell the tale, please dig deep to support this important cause which is a lifeline for so many families.

Thanks!
