The Ring O’ Fire is an annual 131 mile coastal ultra marathon circumnavigating the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales.

I began training over a year ago with a number of half marathons, full marathons, including Chester and Loch Ness, The Sandstone Trail Challenge in 2012 and 2013, and most recently The Wall ultra marathon, 69 miles along Hadrians Wall.

I thought I'd take this opportunity to raise money for the Christie, as they supported my partner Simon, and I, along with our families when he had lymphoma. It was the PET scan at the Christie that comfirmed the chemotherapy had wiped out the cancer. I hope that a donation for them will be able to give others with cancer a brighter future.
