I wanted to take on a physical challenge and adventure to qualify for my Diamond Duke of Edinburgh award. I love the outdoors and want to climb a mountain so Daddy suggested Pen-y-Fan and its high neighbours. Doing the circuit from the Storey Arms around the high peaks, down to the reservoir and back up to the ridge before descending to the Storey Arms involves 1500 metres of vertical ascent and descent which will be a challenge for my young legs. I am also passionate about raising money for other young people less fortunate than me.
