We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

Pennie was a wonderful mother to myself and my two brothers, Simon and Laurence. She and Bev enjoyed 16 wonderful years together before she finally succumbed to a rare form of lymphoma. Through fortitude and medical treatment, Pennie had come through almost 5 years since her lymphoma diagnosis and also survived massive cardiac surgery in October 2021. She played badminton regularly and enjoyed friendship and games with Bev and other club members in Warwick and Kenilworth.

In earlier years, Pennie was a very caring and dedicated  nurse Her dedicated caring extended to family and, with support, she nursed her first husband, father to myself and my brothers, at home in his final illness.

Mum had a peaceful death at home, just as she wanted, but she was always a big supporter of Myton Hospice and recognised the excellent work that they do in caring for people with life limiting conditions and at the end of life. We would very much like to support Myton Hospice in memory of a wonderful wife, mother, friend and kind person to many.
